  I wish I could give -0 for this experience!!! READ BELOW RESPONSE TO OWNERS! I had a pedi and manicure done at Opulence yesterday. My previous review was removed, and I believe people need to know about my experience. My pedicure experience was great—thank you, Cindy! However, my manicure was disgusting and was done by Amy (assuming she is the owner or one of the owners). I repeatedly asked her to cut my cuticles and reshape my nails, trusting she would do a good job. When she was done, I was extremely surprised because my nails looked awful. The nail gel was bleeding over my cuticles and the sides of my nails—see the attached picture for reference. Cindy again tried to help and fix my nails, but it was already late and I couldn’t stay for her to redo them. I mentioned to Amy that I was unhappy with the service and didn’t think it was worth $161. She responded that it was because I do my own nails. Yes, I do, and I know how they should look after a proper manicure. This is besides the point. I came to you for a service and expected to be satisfied. Instead, she forced me to pay and then told me not to come back instead of offering to redo my nails. Her exact words were, “don’t come back here.” How unprofessional and disgusting! Furthermore, when I checked my charges, they had billed me $172—stealing too! I don’t think this place offers great service and they definitely cannot do proper nails. Utterly disappointed! 1. I noticed that there are cameras in your salon, please look at them and you’ll see that I was not rude or disrespectful towards Amy until she became rude and forced me to pay for a service no one would be happy with. In fact I was extremely disappointed and sad. 2. I would never ever steal from anyone! Do not make comment you cannot support by facts!! I was given a service that I was unhappy about! Would you want your nails to look like that right after you received a service? Maybe not! I had a right to say I was unhappy. It is very unprofessional for someone that worked in this industry for 30 years to mention an even that occurred that has nothing to do with my issue! I was standing with my phone ready to pay instead of talking to me understanding my concerns I was forced to pay and leave. 3. While Amy did my nails you (John) were not there the entire time you also fell asleep while sitting there and left! This happened a few min after you left! 4. The salon was not full there were 3 customers including myself! Amy did not help anyone in fact she was coughing and sniffing the entire time she did my nails at least she had a mask on and I did not mind that. And I assume she needed a break from all the dust which I completely understand. 5. Everything on my nails is wrong! Look at the attached pictures taken right after my service. Not only did I have to pay for unacceptable quality of service, but had to deal with a rude and forceful owner and I had to redo my nails as it was disgusting it was 6. I asked Amy a simple question, would you pay this amount for nails that look like this? Simple one answer question. 7. I paid $172 don’t lie about prices! I’ve seen and heard that this same situation happened to other people! Looks like this is a common thing you do with clients… 8. Yes Amy did tell me to never come back. Again you have cameras right? Go look at them and then respond with facts. 9. Respect comes from both sides, I was hopeful that this was going to be my go to salon since I love doing nails and getting pampered instead it was a horrible experience and you try to cover it up with lies. Many people who have seen and viewed my comment feel like it was unfair treatment from you and Amy! Business 101, customers first if a customer is unhappy be calm and solve the issue respectfully never tell a customer to never come back you will loose business. If a customer express their feedback take it and make it right we pay you at that moment you working for the client not other way around. Your comment and Amy’s comment were not even aligned how sad.

  This place is the best! Been coming here for almost a year and love it…the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and Jenny is incredible with everything she does! Just got this classic French tip and the shape and design was absolutely perfect-they also always last at least 3-4 weeks for me! Highly recommend!

  Worst nail spa ever!! Don’t waist your money! Rude owner and treats people like trash! I paid $172 for this! While sitting there I told them my nails are lifting it won’t last Amy said it’s cause I usually do my own nail? Ok and? I came to you to treat myself and this is what I get! Yes i definitely know how to do nails and do it properly without lifting right away! Clearly she has no clue how to do nails! My pedi was great, thanks Cindy! Poor employee could see that Amy did a trash job and tried to fix it well, I didn’t have time to fix a whole set of nails. Instead Amy (owner I assume) forced me to pay how sneaky it was suppose to be 161 she charged me $172! Disgusting! Also they don’t tell you about extra costs! They wait until you are done then tell you what they charged. I’m so disappointed!Her (Amy) solution was “don’t come back here then” and I said you bet I’ll never ever come back! How are these people still operating? They have no clue what they doing but stealing money and being sneaky! I’m disgusted and disappointed! DONT WAIST your MONEY!

  Look for Jenny to do your nails. She’s fabulous. Skilled and excellent results. I had a regular pedi and gel Manicure. A little pricey- but it isssssss Westport. I paid $70. Very friendly staff.

  Was in the area at a doctor's appointment and decided to get my nails done because I had some time to kill and I regret going to this nail salon. I literally got my nails done Friday and by Sunday they were all lifting. I got a gel manicure and when I paid I was told 36 but when I looked on my online banking I was charged 38.
